(3)The committee constituted under sub-section (1) shall mandatorily have at least one-third women members from amongst the President of the Project Committee and the Presidents of the Water Users' Associations and to the extent possible representatives of Government Department and Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) shall also have at least one-third women.
