29. Provision regarding notice of giving up possession by the tenant.
(1)Every tenant who is in possession of any premises to which this Act applies shall observe all the terms and conditions of the tenancy agreement and shall be entitled to the benefits thereof.(2)Notwithstanding anything in this Act or any other law for the time being in force, the tenant may give up possession of the premises on giving such notice as is required under the tenancy agreement and in the absence of any stipulation relating to such notice, the tenant shall give notice to the landlord of at least one month before giving up possession of the premises.
