(2)Every application for a supply of water for the purpose of irrigation shall be made in the form prescribed on or before the date fixed under sub-rule (1) for the submission of such applications :Provided that, if an application is received after such date and the Executive Engineer is satisfied that the delay was unintentional and due to causes beyond the control of the applicant, he may treat such application as if it had been received on the due date :Provided further that, if it appears to the Executive Engineer that a supply of water will be available after all applications received before such date have been disposed of, he may receive applications upto any later date.
