Section 19(1) in Indian Medicine Central Council (Election) Rules, 1975
(1)When the counting of the votes has been completed, the returning Officer shall draw up a list of candidates in the order of highest votes polled by each candidates and shall declare the result of the successful candidates in the order of the highest vote polled by each and shall declare the result of the successful candidates in the order according to the number of seats to be filled up and shall forthwith inform the successful candidates by post or by hand or in such other manner as he thinks fit, of his being elected to the Council.
