- Suitable means of crossing canals and channels shall be provided at such places as the Government may think necessary for the reasonable convenience of the inhabitants of the adjacent land; and suitable bridges or culverts and such other works shall be constructed to remove obstruction which may arise in the drainage of the land by any canal or channel.
