Section 331 in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
331. Special sanitary arrangements at certain places. -
(1)The Municipal Commissioner may make such special arrangements, whether permanent or temporary, as he considers adequate for maintaining sanitation in the vicinity of any place of religious worship or institutions or places to which large numbers of persons resort on particular occasions or in any place used for holding fairs, festivals, sports or cultural or social events.(2)The Municipal Commissioner may require any person having control over any such place to pay to the Corporation fees at such rates as the Mayor-in-Council may from time to time determine.B.
