Section 3(b) in The General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Act, 1972
(b)"appointed [day]" means such day not being a day later than the 2nd day of January, 1973, as the Central Government may, by notification appoint;(ba)"board of directors" or "board", in relation to a specified insurer,shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in clause (10) of section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013;
