ORDER
Shri Tarun, hereinafter called the appellant, has filed the present appeal dated 16.4.2012 before the Commission against the respondent Delhi Police, Outer District for not providing satisfactory information in response to his RTI- application dated 22.12.2011. The appellant was absent whereas the respondent were represented by Shri Hem Chand, ACP, Shri Shambhu Dyal, Inspector, Shri Jai Prakash, Inspector and Manoj, SI.

The appellant through his RTI application dated 22.12.2011 sought to know the action taken by the Police on his complaint filed by him on 20.7.2010 and he also wanted to know whether an FIR has been lodged against Smt. Lata, her daughters, her husband including their accomplices. The CPOIO vide his letter No. 500/ID No. 3337/11/RTI Cell/Outer District dated 25.1.2012 informed the appellant that on the basis of report/comments/documents obtained from SHO/South-Rohini through ACP/Rohini/Outer District, the appellant's application in question has been attached with the case file of case FIR No. 238/10 P.S. South Rohini, Delhi. In reply to the second query, the appellant was informed that no separate FIR was lodged against Smt. Lata and others.
2 Case No. CIC/SS/A/2012/0018723. Not satisfied with the reply of the CPIO, the appellant filed first appeal on 23.2.2012 before the FAA. The FAA vide his order No. 173/Appeal/RTI/Outer District dated 16.3.2012 remitted the first appeal back to the CPIO with directions to provide requisite point-wise information as sought by the appellant within ten days.
4. In his second appeal filed before the Commission, the appellant states that the reply received from the FAA is not satisfactory. The appellant requested that an inquiry in respect of his complaints against Smt. Lata needs to be instituted to verify the facts before the reply is sent to him.

During the hearing the respondent state that in compliance with the directions of the FAA, the CPIO vide his letter No. 1536/RTI Cell/Outer District dated 19.3.2012 informed the appellant as follows: "Point No. (a) and (b): As per report of SHO-South Rohini, it is submitted that a quarrel took place between you and your neighbour Smt. Lata over a trivial issue of taking of bricks. Smt. Lata alleged that in the quarrel you intentionally outraged her modesty and caused injury to her and on the statement of Smt. Lata Devi a case FIR No. 238/10, u/s 323/354 IPC was registered at PS South-Rohini in which you were an accused. You are arrested in the case and were released on bail. Later you gave two applications regarding threatening being given by Smt. Lata. Both the complaints were attached with the case file and no separate FIR was registered on your complaints as the matter was related to the same incident".
6. The Commission is of the view that the CPIO has provided requisite reply to the appellant. No action is called for on the part of the Commission.
