(1)The scale of pay admissible to persons appointed to the Service shall be such as may be determined by the Government from time to time.

(2)The scales of pay at the time of the commencement of these rules are as follows:

(i) Assistant Boring Technician	... Rs. 950-20-1,150-E.B.-25-1,500.
(ii) Boring Technician	... Rs 1,200-30-1,400-E.B.-30-1,800.
