34. Duties to be performed by the Assistant Jailor in the absence of the Jailor.
- In the absence of the Jailor or in prisons where there is only one Assistant Jailor, the duties of the Jailor under these rules shall be performed by such Assistant Jailor as the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent may direct, as the case may be, by the only Assistant Jailor.
