Section 340 in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955
340. Commissioner may execute certain works under this Chapter without allowing option to persons concerned of executing the same.
(1)The Commissioner, may, if he thinks fit, cause any work described in this Chapter to be executed by municipal or other agency under his own orders, without first of all giving the person by whom the same would otherwise have to be executed, the option of doing the same.(2)The expenses of any work so done shall be paid by the person aforesaid, unless the Corporation shall, by a general or special order or resolution, sanction as they are hereby empowered to sanction, the execution of such work at the charge of the municipal fund.
