Section 2(a) in The Tamil Nadu Regulation of Admission in Professional Courses Act, 2006
(a)"Appropriate Authority" means a University or an Authority or Established or Agency so Authorized by the Government of Tamil Nadu to conduct the Common Entrance Test;
