Section 78(4) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Statutes, 1990

(4)The Associate Professor/Reader shall be subordinate to the Professor. The Assistant Professor shall be subordinate to the Associate Professor/Reader concerned. The Demonstrator, Senior Research Assistant and Junior Research Assistant and equivalent shall be subordinate to the concerned Assistant Professor.
