Section 7(1) in The Lifeboatmen's (Qualifications and Certificates) Rules, 1963
(1)where the owner, agent or master of a ship or a shipping company desires that the members of the crew of a ship should be examined, the owner, agent or master or the company shall fill in the application forms on behalf of the members of the crew and shall be responsible for the correctness of the statements made in the applications.
