MR. SPEAKER: I am not minimising the importance of any incident like that, if it has happened. But we have to proceed on the basis of authoritative information. The hon. Leader of the House has responded to what has happened. He is saying that he will find out the position from the Railway Minister himself. Then, the Government will be doing what the Government thinks proper to do. I can only express my disagreement and disapproval if any hon. Member on any side of this House is manhandled or improperly treated. It is most condemnable. I will condemn it. But we must proceed on the basis of authoritative information. That is what I think, the hon. Leader of the House has said very appropriately. He has not minimised the importance. He has said that the hon. Minister is himself coming within a few minutes. He will find out from the Minister. Thereafter, the Government will make its response. I have nothing to say. My appeal to all the hon. Members is that you have sufficiently expressed your concern in this matter. It is being taken note of on all sides including the Chair. Therefore, let the business of the House be conducted. Nobody is minimising the importance. Ram Kripalji, we have respect for each hon. Member. I have respect for everyone. Therefore, it is painful to me if any hon. Member of this House is manhandled or badly treated. We should not sit quietly on this. I can assure you that proper investigation, inquiry, etc. will be made. Therefore, I would say that your wish to ventilate will not be served by further continuance of this. … (Interruptions)

MR. SPEAKER: It is a serious matter. I am not minimising its importance. But it seems that it is not possible to get the actual position immediately.
