Section 246 in The Building And Other Construction Workers '(Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Central Rules, 1998
246. Serving of tea and snacks at the workplaces.
- At a building or other construction work where a workplace is situated at a distance of more than zero point two kilometres from the canteen provided under sub-rule (1) of rule 244, arrangement shall be made by the employer employing building workers at such place for serving tea and light refreshment to such building workers at such place.
