Section 53(1) in Sikkim Forests, Water Courses and Road Reserve (Preservation and Protection) Act, 1988
(1)The Government may, from time to time, by notification, direct that in all or any part of the areas which have been closed under section 25 or section 32, there shall be levied for each head of cattle or other animal impounded under section 52, such fine not exceeding fifty rupees as may be specified in such notification.
