220. Municipal Water-supply, Drainage and Sewerage Code.
(1)The Municipality shall prepare and maintain a Code to be called the Municipal Water-supply, Drainage and Sewerage Code which shall include such regulations as may be made from time to time relating to the construction, maintenance, repair and alteration of waterworks, water-supply mains, supply-pipes, drains, sewers, privies and urinals, cesspools, and appurtenances thereof and other matters under chapter XXII or chapter XXIII or this chapter.(2)Such regulations shall provide for inspection of premises by the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer, or any other officer, or any other agency, authorized by him in this behalf, as the case may be, to ascertain compliance with the provisions of this Act and the rules the regulations made thereunder.Chapter-XXV Solid WastesA.
