                          UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
                                             O R D E R

1. Against an order rejecting the regular bail by the High Court and to seek bail, the present special leave petition has been filed. The petitioner is in Signature Not Verified Digitally signed by Gulshan Kumar Arora Date: 2025.07.29 17:11:07 IST Reason: 1 SLP (Crl) No.8883/2025 custody w.e.f. 09.12.2021 in connection with Complaint Case No. 382 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 9(A) read with 25(A), 23, 28 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act on the file of the I Additional Special Court, EC & NDPS Act, Chennai.

2. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, taking note of the period of incarceration which is more than three and a half years and still summons were issued to PW-6 and PW-7 for examination on 08.08.2025, as such, the trial may take some time to conclude, however, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we are inclined release the petitioner on Bail.

3. Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing the suitable bail bonds and sureties and on such other terms and conditions as may be deemed fit by the trial Court.

4. Petitioner to abide all the conditions as imposed and shall regularly attend the trial until 2 SLP (Crl) No.8883/2025 exempted by the Court. Violation, if any, may give a cause to take recourse as permissible and the trial Court is at liberty to do the needful.

5. Accordingly and in view of the foregoing, the special leave petition stands allowed.

6. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
