Section 9 in Rice-Milling Industry (Regulation) Act, 1958
9. Power of inspection.
- For the purpose of ascertaining the position or examining the working of any rice mill or for any other purpose mentioned in this Act or the rules made thereunder, the licensing officer or any person authorised by the Central Government in this behalf shall have the right-(a)to enter and inspect any rice mill;(b)to order the production of any document, book, register or record in the possession or power of any person having the control of, or employed in connection with, any rice mill; and(c)to examine any person having the control of, or employed in connection with, any rice mill.
