Section 26(2) in THE NATIONAL ANTI-DOPING ACT, 2022
(2)The Central Government may,—(a)recognise one or more laboratories or institutes located within India as dope testing laboratories to carry out the functions entrusted to a dope testing laboratory under this Act or the rules and regulations made thereunder;(b)establish one or more National Dope Testing Laboratories, including laboratories for undertaking research in anti-doping science and related fields:Provided that every dope testing laboratory recognised or established under this section may, if required, obtain the accreditation of the World Anti-Doping Agency or of such other accrediting bodies, and shall maintain the requisite accreditations as a condition for continuation as a dope testing laboratory under this Act.
