Section 13(4) in Usha Martin University, Jharkhand Act, 2012
(4)The Chancellor shall preside at the meeting of the Board of Governors of the University for Conferring Degrees,, diplomas, Charters, Designations or Certificates. 5) The Chancellor shall have the following powers, namely:(a)To call for any information or record;(b)To appoint the Vice-Chancellor;(c)To remove the Vice-Chancellor;(d)Such others powers as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes made there under.
