(2)Unless the contrary is expressed, a Bombay Act [or Maharashtra Act] [These words were inserted by Maharashtra Adaptation of Laws (State and Concurrent Subjects) Order, 1960.] be construed as coming into operation immediately on the expiration of the day preceding its commencement.
