(6)The Research and Extension Council may make regulations for,-(i)constitution of zonal councils and working groups for various related disciplines in research stations and extension centres;(ii)monitoring and evaluation of research and extension programmes;(iii)functioning of different research and extension programmes;(iv)integration of research, extension and teaching;(v)training programmes for various functionaries involved in horticultural development;(vi)conferring distinctions and awarding prizes to the farmers and others who contributed for the development of horticulture;(vii)any other purpose envisaged in the objects of the University relating to research and extension.Chapter - IX Miscellaneous
