CMP No. 13069 of 2022 On r 16.7.2021, an order was passed whereby the execution of impugned award was ordered to remain stayed subject to the applicants/ appellants depositing the entire awarded amount with upto date interest within a period of eight weeks. The applicants/appellants have failed to comply with the order. Amount was not deposited in terms of aforesaid order.
By way of instant application, a prayer has been made to allow the applicants/appellants to deposit the awarded amount. It is averred that the amount could not be deposited earlier for the reason that the matter had to be dealt with at various levels.
Now, the applicants/appellants are in possession of the credit letter from the Government and are ready and willing to deposit the amount.

The reasons stated in the application for delay in depositing the amount appears to be bona-fide.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the application is allowed and the applicants/ appellants are allowed to deposit the entire awarded amount along with upto date interest within three weeks from today. On compliance of this order by the applicants/appellants, the order dated 16.7.2021 shall be deemed to be extended till final disposal of the appeal. The application stands disposed of.
