Section 17(1) in Gujarat Biotechnology University Act, 2018
(1)The Advisory Council of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:(i)the Chairman;(ii)the Director General;(iii)five academicians or research scientists of national or global eminence, to be nominated by the Board;(iv)two leading members from biotech industry or industry associations having national or international operations nominated by the Board;(v)Directors;(vi)two faculty members from the programs being run at the University campus, to be nominated by the Board.
