Section 23 in Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009
23. Disqualifications.
(1)A person shall be disqualified for being a member of any of the authorities or bodies of the University, if-(a)he is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court;(b)he is an undischarged insolvent;(c)he has been convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude;(d)he is conducting or engaging himself in private coaching with or without pecuniary gain; or(e)he has been punished for indulging in or promoting unfair practice in the conduct of any examination, in any form, anywhere.
