- In urban areas the distance between two excise shops of similar description shall be as follows :

(a)For IMFL shops: 100 meters.

(b)For country spirit shops: 100 meters.

In rural areas the distance between two excise shops of similar description shall be as follows:

(a)For IMFL shops: 1 k.m.

(b)For country spirit shops: 3 k.m.
