120. Method of varying rent
Subject to the other provisions of this Act, the rent of a tenant (including a tenant of Khudkasht and a sub-tenant) may enhanced or abated only(a)by a registered agreement, or(b)by a decree or order of a competent revenue court passed in a suit of, in case of land held directly from the State Government on application by a tenant or report by the Tehsildar.
