Section 15(3) in The Calcutta Improvement Act, 1911
(3)If at any time it appears to the [State Government] [Words substituted by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] that the Chairman has shown himself to be unsuitable for his office, or has been guilty of any misconduct or neglect which renders his removal expedient, it may, by notification, declare that the Chairman shall cease to hold office as such.
