(1)This Act may be called the Tripura Municipal Act, 1994.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tripura except the areas under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District.(3)It shall come into force on such date as may be appointed by the State Government by Notification in the Official Gazette and different dates may be appointed for different provisions or for different areas.
