246. Confirmed officers take command over acting.
- Officers of acting rank shall rank and command after those holding the corresponding confirmed rank, and in relation to officers of the same denomination shall rank and command according to the order in which their names stand in the Navy List, unless the Chief of the Naval Staff may otherwise direct.Section V - Ship's Company
