Section 19 in The Assam Technical Education Service Rules, 1981
19. Joining time.
- A person shall join with 15 days from the date of receipt of the order of appointment or of promotion failing which the appointment shall be cancelled unless the Appointing Authority extends the period which shall not in all exceed three months.
