Section 9(1) in The General Grading and Marking Rules, 1988
(1)A chemist may be approved by approved by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser or any other officer of the Directorate or the State Government authorised by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser for grading and marking of an article under provisions of the Act provided-(a)he/she possesses the minimum prescribed qualification; and(b)he/she successfully completes the prescribed training in the analysis and procedure for grading and marking of the commodity.
