17. Functions of the Extension Education Council.
(1)Education Extension Council shall consider and make recommendations in respect of the following :-(i)The Education Extension Programmes and Projects of the University;(ii)Co-ordination of Extension Education activities for improvement of Animal Husbandry and allied branches and for the development of Rural communities;(iii)Development of Farmers' Education and Training and Advisory Services, identification and resolution of field problems and transmission of information's;(iv)Methodology of Education Extension;(v)Integration of Education Extension with teaching and research in the University and ensure the participation of teachers and research workers in Education Extension programmes;(vi)Any other matter referred to it by the Vice-Chancellor, Board or any other authority of the University.
