Sixteenth Loksabha an> Title: Need for a CBI inquiry into the death of a migrant labourer from West Bengal in Rajasthan - Laid SHRIMATI MAUSAM NOOR (MALDAHA): The heinous and cold blooded murder of Mohammad Afrazul, a migrant worker from Malda, West Bengal has shocked the conscience of the nation and shattered the belief in rule of law among countless members of the minority community.
There has been repeated attacks and lynching of hapless innocent people in the name of religion and the murder of Mohammad Afrazul, was far too brutal for humans to comprehend. The hatred towards a poor migrant labourer and filming of the murder bythe young kin of accused exposes the perverted hatred and deep-rooted murderous bigotry and a sickening absence of kindness.
The Government of Rajasthan has failed indelivering justice and I request the Government to initiate a CBI investigation into the murder and grant a solatium of Rs 50lakhs to the spouse ofthe deceased and she be provided employment in the Central Government.
