Section 8(1) in U.P. Plastic and Other Non-Biodegradable Garbage Regulation Act, 2000
(1)Whoever uses in contravention or abets the use in contravention of Section 7, shall be punished, in the event of first conviction with imprisonment for a term, which may extend to one month or with fine which shall not be less than one thousand rupees and which may extend to ten thousand rupees and in the event of second or subsequent conviction, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which shall not be less than five thousand rupees and which may extend to twenty five thousand rupees.
