(5)The manager shall ensure that-(a)all equipment on the installation provided for compliance with the emergency plan is maintained in a reliable state under efficient working order and in good condition without repair; and(b)there is a written scheme prepared for the systematic examination of all emergency equipment by an independent competent person.
