(1)When prosecution has been launched, the Collector shall move the Magistrate, seized of the case to take action, if such action has not already been taken by the Magistrate of his own motion, for the production of the original instrument in court under section 91 or section 93 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.(2)If the original instrument is not produced in Court, a copy thereof may be produced as secondary evidence under section 63 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, to prove the contents of the original.
