          Now, after 1989, we have seen how the entire society and the entire country were communalised. We have seen that in 1990 the Rath Yatra was started from Somnath under the leadership of Shri L. K. Advani and the BJP’s election symbol was prominently displayed in the Rath. What we have seen that the day the Rath Yatra was started, there was bloodshed and there were communal rights everywhere.
          Madam, my district, which is a small district, was known as a peaceful district `Purulia’.   Shri L.K. Advani’s Rath only touched the border, `Jhalda’. The moment it crossed the border to erstwhile Bihar, there were communal riots.

Advani in part.  No evidence was led or information provided to the Commission with respect to the conspiracy or the pre-planning or the joint common enterprise by any of these counsels.”   मुझे अच्छा लग रहा है कि हमारे देश के गृह मंत्री एक वरिष्ठ एडवोकेट हैं। चिदंबरम जी, कम से कम आप तो एविडेंस को एप्रिशिएट कर पाएंगे। आप मुझे बताइए कि तीनों चीजें, जो ये तथ्य जुटा सकती थीं, साक्ष्य ला सकती थीं, जो सबूत पेश कर सकती थीं लेकिन लिब्रहान कमीशन रिपोर्ट कहती है कि न सीबीआई तथ्य जुटा पाई, न इंटेलीजेंस एजेंसियां मदद कर पाई और न मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड के वकील हमारे सामने कोई सबूत पेश कर पाए कि यह कोई योजना थी, कोई षडयंत्र था या साजिश थी। लेकिन इन तीनों के बावजुद लिब्रहान रिपोर्ट किस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचती है, मैं वह निष्कर्ष पढ़कर सुनाना चाहती हूं -

 
Commission pinpointed-who are all intellectually ideologically, and physically responsible for the demolition of baberi masjid.
 
Commission says that the demolition of mosque was well orchestrated with long preparation, pre-planning and not as spontaneous action out of anger.
 
Commission has fixed the culpability on 68 persons such as A.B. Vajpeyi, K.S. Sundersan, L. K Advani, kalyan Singh, Murli Manohar Joshi etc and it has also pin pointed the organizations behind this heinous crime.

          This Report has enlisted leaders of various hues like former Prime Minister Vajpayee, Shri L.K. Advani, Shri Murli Manohar Joshi as those who are  responsible for the demolition of Babri Masjid structure.  Justice Liberhan has also stated that suitable action should be taken against certain leaders who belong to the RSS, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party who have brought down the structure and razed it to the ground as a premeditated move.  I urge upon the Government especially the Indian National Congress to take appropriate action at least as a measure of expressing their gratitude to the minority Muslim community that expresses its confidence to them. Otherwise this will be a betrayal on the part of Congress.
