6. The applicants were initially appointed as Assistant Programmers in May, 2005. It is stated that the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs approved the revision of basic pay scale for Assistant Programmer/Data Processing Supervisors working in Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi w.e.f. 01.01.1996 vide their letter dated 16.12.1999, but the revised pay scales have not been implemented by the respondents. Some of the aggrieved Assistant Programmers filed OA No.1887/2000 titled M. M. Chandra and Others vs. The Principal Secretary (Planning) Govt. of NCT of Delhi and others before Principal Bench of this Tribunal. The said OA was allowed vide order dated 15.03.2001. The order passed in the OA was challenged before Hon'ble Delhi High Court in W.P. (C) No.5976/2001. The said writ petition was dismissed vide order dated 30.11.2011.
