It was observed by the Committee that the same practice was adopted by the University in conducting of GSCASH elections as well. It was also noted that the IC consists of 09 members (01 Presiding Officer, 02 faculty representatives, 02 staff representatives, 03 student representatives and 01 NGO representative). As per the practice adopted by the IC of JNU. any of the three elected student representatives can be present during the hearing/proceedings of the case irrespective of the category of the student along with the other members of IC.
