2. On being referred by the Superintendent of Police, Border, Kamrup(Metro), IM(D)T Case No.1123/2000 was registered against the petitioner in the Illegal Migrants Determination Tribunal at Guwahati. On the IMDT Act being declared ultra vires, the reference was transferred to the Foreigners Tribunal, Kamrup(M) and was re-numbered as F.T. Kamrup(Metro) D.V. Case No.234/2010.
