Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the Amendment of Section 34 made in the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (The RP Act, 1951) through the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act 41 of 2009 which came into force from 22.12.2009 and quash or strike down the Amendment of Section 34 therein as constitutionally invalid and is liable to be set aside and unconstitutional and violative of the basic structure and direct the respondents to follow the earlier deposit amount as per the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act, 1996.
