2. Status report dated 19.12.2025 is handed over in Court by Ms. Mrinalini Sen, learned Standing Counsel for DDA along with photographs, which show that there is some progress in the work in the toilet blocks as also in respect of lighting and cleanliness in the surrounding area. This fact is acknowledged by Mr. Satyakam, learned counsel for the Petitioners albeit both he and Mr. T. Singhdev, appointed as Court Commissioner submit that much remains to be done. Mr. Satyakam, hands over documents including a Sample Test Certificate, which reflect the poor quality of water in the area. There is no doubt that the water quality is far from the required standards and immediate steps are required to be taken.
5. Court appreciates the efforts being put in by Mr. T. Singhdev and the detailed and comprehensive report prepared by him as also the valuable suggestions given towards corrective measures.
6. List for further hearing on 15.01.2026 at 02.30 PM.
