Surya Kant, J. (Oral) The petitioner-land owners, whose land has been acquired by the State of Haryana vide award dated 10.1.1975 passed by the Land Acquisition Collector, Sonepat, are impugning the order dated 17.5.2004 of the learned Additional District Judge, Sonepat, whereby he has determined the amount to which the petitioners are entitled to be paid. It appears that the petitioners are aggrieved at the calculation of the interest component as has been determined by the learned Additional District Judge, Sonepat.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. I am of the considered view that there is no necessity to set- aside the order dated 17.5.2004 as the amount already determined by the Additional District Judge, Sonepat, can be received by the petitioners without prejudice to their further claim. If the petitioners are entitled to any higher amount of interest etc., liberty is granted to them to approach the Additional District Judge, Sonepat, who shall then redetermine the claim of the petitioners in accordance with law.
