5. It is submitted that, as per Chapter 6 of the Kerala University First Statutes, 1977, the Syndicate of the University is the authority to decide issues related to malpractice committed by candidates. It is submitted that, the Syndicate at its session on 29.04.2022 vide item No. 22.02 A resolved to approve the above recommendations of the Standing Committee of the Syndicate on Students' Discipline.
