The Division Bench of High Court of Madras in Ex- Apprentices Association Cordite Factory Aravankadu Branch (supra) took note of amendment to Section 22 (1) | of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and directed the respondents therein to formulate a policy and frame a scheme in tune with Section 22 (1) of the Apprentices Act, 1961 for recruiting apprentices in regular posts armoangst those, who have completed the period of apprenticeship training. In the present matters, itis the case of respondents that the Recruitment Rules framed under Article 309 of the Constitution, a8 amended from tune to time, is their policy decision.
