                         J U D G M E N T

The appellant challenges his conviction for the offence under Section 58 of the Abkari Act and sentence to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year and to pay a fine of ..1,00,000/-. It is seen from the death certificate handed over to me by the learned Public Prosecutor that the appellant died on 13.03.2014 at the Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode. No legal representative has sought for permission to proceed with the appeal. The appeal is closed as abated.
