The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that application at Exh.486 was filed by the defendants with a prayer to exhibit the map in certified copy of the alleged lease deed transliterated by Shri Baburao Baliram Purohit who was having knowledge about the Modi script and was in position to transliterate the document.

4. It is submitted that after the death of Shri Baburao Purohit, transliteration of the document is on record but without examination of Shri Baburao Purohit as a witness, the said document could not be exhibited. It 2 13-wp-7057-2025.odt is submitted that despite this being the position, the Trial Court has directed that the entire document be exhibited.
